The Difference Between an Ego Desire and a Spirit Desire

Sometimes we desire something and we are willing to do anything to get it but often what we forget to ask is where is this desire coming from. An ego desire is very different from a spirit desire. An ego desire will drive us in the wrong direction toward things that may give us instant gratification but will not really fulfill us. Often this type of desire is impulsive, it moves us forward and compels us to follow it. Unlike ego desires, spirit desires are often more subtle yet much more profound. When we connect to them we just know with a deep resonance that we need to follow this calling. These are the desires we need to cultivate, pay attention to and act on, because when we do, we are inspired, and live our life to the fullest.
