Be Present
When we are not present not only do we miss the moment but we can hurt our self. Have you ever walked into a wall or slammed your finger in a car door? These are the little accidents that can happen when we are not paying attention. Having a consistent practice of bringing yourself back into present time can save us from life’s little accidents but more importantly, it saves us from the big ones. The choices we make everyday that determine the course of our life can be better choices when we are completely present when we are making them. Presence is not just about being in the now but it is about who is being in the now. When we are fully present our spirit is embodied. It, too, is present for life’s decisions. When our spirit is making choices they will be the highest choice for us.
