Certified Master Spirit Coach®, Tai Chi and meditation teacher, Marty Cross brings inspiring hope, gentle humor, and joy, to assist people on their path of Self-discovery, in a safe, open and sharing environment. He is a Co-Director, with his wife, of the Center for Spiritual Development, a school dedicated to educating people on how to experience themselves as Spirit-embodied. He has been compassionately mentoring clients in one-on-one coaching since 2008, and teaching Tai Chi and meditation for more than four decades, including 33 years at Lake Tahoe Community College. Having initially opened his “doors of perception” in the late 60’s, with ethno-botanical psychoactive plants and synthetic chemicals, Marty longed to discover these states internally and sustainably. So began a lifelong exploration of conscious awareness and personal evolutionary practices. From behavioral sciences in college, his ongoing studies and experiences have been very eclectic, and include Tai Chi and Chi Kung, Taoism, Shamanic Arts, various “process therapies,” Ho O’ponopono (Hawaiian Huna Shamanism), deep immersion in Native American/indigenous cosmology - including ceremony and other tribal spiritual practices, Conscious Language Mastery, “entity channeling,” intensive Intuition Development and Energy work with the Foundation for Spiritual Development (20 years), and immersion in the offerings of Jenai Lane and Spirit Coach Training®. Along with a decades-long, daily meditation practice, Marty’s depth of wisdom and experience allows him to connect with and inspire his clients on their own spiritual journeys. He feels honored to witness the personal, unfolding awareness of his students and clients as they fulfill their highest aspirations.
