My New Favorite Symbol

I have been a symbol junkie for most of my life. I love symbols because they are the language of spirit. So when I came across this new symbol on my spiritual pilgrimage to France when I was following in the footsteps of Mary Magdalene, I was moved to tears. I saw it everywhere in Saintes Maries De La Mer, a little seaside town that is said to be the place where Mary Magdalene began her journey of teaching The Way of Love all over Southern France for the last 30 years of her life.

To me, this symbol says so much that no words are necessary. It evokes such a deep truth within me that I couldn’t help but squeal in excitement when I saw it. For me, it is about anchoring the Christ light into the heart center. Our high spiritual heart is the bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds, and when we anchor our Christed self into form, we become the Divine embodiment we came here to be. This path has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with embracing our divinity. When we work on anchoring in the light within, that light is who we become.

Take a moment to meditate on this symbol and see what it evokes in you. Call upon your light and ask it to be fully present in your form. The more you consciously do this, the more you will see how easy it can be to transform yourself and light up your world.
